With an elevation ranging 7,000 to 7,400’, this is a higher snowfall area, but being a school bus route, access during the winter is not impossible. There are a few level parcels with lot sizes from .16 acre to 1 acre. The U.S. Forest Service and IVGID have purchased several parcels, which help keep new construction to a minimum while maximizing the area’s natural beauty and privacy.

Depending on the location, some homes may have lake tahoe views, while higher elevation properties have beautiful forest settings. There are great hiking trails starting at end of Jennifer Street, and Center Creek, off Barbara Street.

This area tends to have a good inventory in a variety of price ranges.
